Yesterday was Adrienne and Kenny’s wedding at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. Adrienne met Kenny when she was doing research in Ecuador - soon after they were engaged! Kenny doesn’t speak much English, and unfortunately with only two years of high-school spanish I do not understand much. But during the day I did pick up on a few words: “corazón” and “amore”… and while I couldn’t understand much, I could clearly see how much in love these two were. It was very much a day of celebration filled with love, laughter, friends, and family.

When I arrived at the resort I called Adrienne - the first thing she said was “.. and Kenny and I couldn’t wait to see each other, so we already have.” The following pictures were not the first time they’d seen each other - but no less filled with emotion. When Adrienne first walked out, I’m not exactly sure what Kenny said.. but I imagine the English translation to be “Ooohh la la!”

Adrienne asked if anyone had a tissue…. as soon as her mother handed one over, Kenny had one out too! So cute!!

These are some of the moments caught between the formals (my favorite type of moment). The Bridesmaid dresses were from J.Crew (I have one in Navy). Don’t they all look like they are straight out of the catalog? It makes me very happy. :)

This plant is a red anthurium which has a heart-shaped flower. It’s one of Kenny’s favorite plants and is significant because it is grown all around his family’s home in Ecuador, and was the flower that he always brought Adrienne when he came to visit her.

The colors were awesome - everything was bright with a tropical feeling.

.. and this is where I about lost it. Adrienne’s mom read a letter written by Kenny’s family, who were not able to make it to the wedding.

.. I love this!

.. and outside for some cigars!

Once the sun began to set we went down to the beach for some pictures.

During parts of this shoot I Adrienne would say, “¡Kenny -serio!” It’s the playfulness these two have which made some beautiful pictures!

I can’t remember exactly what Adrienne was doing with her dress but she said something like “ha - a picture of this!” I said “don’t worry - you look gorgeous right now!” … and doesn’t she?

… and then some bowling with family and friends! Everyone was having such a great time at this wedding (including me!) One thing I have to say about this family, is that the entire time I felt like I was part of the wedding party. They were consistently asking me if they could get me a drink, help me move things, asking me to relax.. they even got me a corsage! So incredibly thoughtful and sweet - all of them!

… some of my favorite detail shots coming up! I loved how unique and fun this wedding was.

Congratulations Adrienne and Kenny! Thank you so so much for a wonderful day!!
